Terms of Service

By accessing or using Connecto ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Platform Description

Connecto is a social commerce marketplace that allows users to create stores, list digital and physical products, and conduct transactions with other users. Connecto acts as a facilitator, not as a party to transactions between buyers and sellers.

2. Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to register.
• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not create accounts for others without their consent.

3. Seller Responsibilities

• Sellers must accurately describe their products, including category, price, and file type.
• Sellers must own or have the right to sell all listed products.
• Sellers must not list counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or prohibited items.
• Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders promptly.
• Pricing must be consistent and accurate across all pages.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

• Buyers must use the Platform only for lawful purchases.
• Buyers must not attempt to circumvent payment systems.
• Buyers must not share, redistribute, or resell purchased digital goods without authorization.

5. Prohibited Content

The following are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

• Illegal products or services
• Counterfeit or fraudulent items
• Adult content, weapons, or drugs
• Malware, spyware, or harmful software
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Misleading or deceptive listings

6. Payments

All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Connecto receives a platform fee on each transaction. The final price charged is the price displayed on the product page at checkout.

7. Limitation of Liability

Connecto is not liable for: disputes between buyers and sellers; quality of listed products; losses arising from account compromise due to user negligence; or service interruptions. Maximum liability is limited to the fees paid to Connecto in the 30 days preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice, at our sole discretion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
